Our story begins with Marie Alunise Mars mother of 9 children who migrated from Haiti to the United States in 1971. Alunise was a quiet, strong-willed woman who enjoyed helping others in need and spent most of her lifetime working in the Health Care field.

After a tragic fire which resulted to the loss of her husband Joseph, Alunise developed health complications, became dependent on her past career and field to provide her with home care and adult daycare services until her passing in 2016. Both her lifelong contribution as a Home Health Aid and personal skilled need challenges she overcame into her elderly age, served as inspirations for seven of her children to also pursue careers as healthcare professionals to eventually launching Healthier You Wellness Partners.

In Alunise's footsteps, her children Marnite Mars Dolne and Jean Price Mars both serial entrepreneurs and Health Care professionals endeavored to launch this exciting venture Healthier You Wellness Nutrition Partners of Greater Boston to honor their parents while simultaneously continuing to make real change in the community.

In 2011, Healthier You incorporated and soon began to offer a comprehensive integrative nutrition and lifestyle change focused services for busy professionals and families at increased risk for chronic diseases such as heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, obesity and certain cancers but determined to improve their well being, and live a healthier lifestyle throughout the New England area.

Since our founding, Healthier You Wellness Partners has grown to expand into other areas of the Health Care Industry to include an Adult Foster Care Program, Adult Social Day, Orthopedic Durable Medical Equipment, PlusCare Staffing Agency, Trust Care Employment Agency and other ventures. Our mission is to become a leading Health Care company providing comprehensive healthcare services for individuals, families, and businesses through our subsidiaries.
